Osama

Osama is a 24-year-old actor and maker from Syria with a great passion for acting, making art and telling stories that affect both the audience and the performers and makers he works with.

Osama believes that although it can sometimes be difficult to exist and feel like we belong somewhere, art can make it easier to understand and experience what it really means to be alive in a very complicated world. He is not only a passionate maker, but also a hard-working actor who wants to play characters and personalities that resonate with others and leave an emotional impact.

He is currently studying acting at the Academie Theater Performance at Creative College Utrecht. As a performer, Osama loves to use his differences and experiences in his acting. Being an immigrant, living in different places and experiencing different cultures are all part of his story, and he wants to share these experiences with the world. For Osama, being unique is a superpower. Most importantly, he wants to express his unique way of thinking.

For Osama, theater is a place for everyone and everything. It is a place to laugh, cry and be inspired, but also a place to see a show that gets you hyped. Osama came to the Netherlands in 2019 with nothing but big dreams, great passion and motivation. He speaks three languages – Arabic, English and Dutch – and always tries to bring them together in his plays.
